WebCT

We will be using some software and the web to help us all better understand some fundamental concepts in chemistry. In addition to the other web-based material for the course, we will also be using a software package called WebCT, and it will have several areas of interest to you. When you go to the site for WebCT you will see several areas among which you can select. Part of your grade involves your web participation which will be determined by how much you use the areas of WebCT. You will be taking on-line tests, participating in the bulletin board discussions, and making a web site telling us all something about yourself.

So if you are registered for this course you can now go to the WebCT site. First choose the proper semester and then choose your section of CHEM 1212 for the semester. You will be asked for a user name and identification for which you will enter your username (three letters of your name and a 4-digit number generated by WebCT and available to you), then click your tab key (not "enter") and enter the 6 digit number of your birthdate for your password.
